The Annex is a charming lakefront cottage located on the western shore of Big Glen Lake and serves as a private extension of the Tonawathya property. With peaceful lake views, open-concept design, this inviting retreat is ideal for families or small groups seeking a relaxed Northern Michigan getaway.
Inside, the cottage features a bright main living space with expansive windows showcasing beautiful lake views throughout. Comfortable furnishings and modern amenities. The spacious kitchen offers ample counter space, an island for meal prep, and everything needed for home-cooked meals, while the dining area and deck provide scenic spots to gather and dine.
The Annex sleeps up to 6 guests with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and direct deck access. The second bedroom offers two twin beds with a connecting bathroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area provides additional space.
Outdoor living is a highlight, with a private fire pit, deck seating, and a mooring available for guests bringing or renting a boat. Paddleboards are provided for exploring the crystal-clear waters of Big Glen Lake. The cottage is conveniently located near Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and the Heritage Trail for hiking and biking adventures.
