Art in the Loft is Northeast Michigan's largest fine arts center and gallery featuring the work of more than 35 juried artists, as well as classes, workshops and community events. Located on the 3rd floor of the historic Center Building. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sunday noon to 4:00 pm.

Hidden gem
Ok, it's not really hidden because it's the largest building downtown, but make time to stop in and browse! This is a wonderful shop with local artists and historic charm.

Gallery for local artists
They have items for sale from about 30 local artists, a little of something for everyone. Worth a drop buy to view or pick up a souvenir or two.

Lovely surprise!
It is such a nice presentation of some of the artists work in the city. Jewelry, photos, paintings, specialty art plus classes. It was very enjoyable as well as reasonable pricing for the pieces...
