Arts & Scraps

Arts & Scraps is a nonprofit organization that recycles industrial materials into learning and fun for all ages and abilities. Visit the store to stuff a bag and choose from over 300 unusual and interesting items, complete kits for individuals and groups and two publications. Scrap Junction is six hands-on stations where adults and children together play, learn and make stuff. Arts & Scraps also provides workshops and hands-on event activities for all ages and abilities at their location or throughout Michigan, featuring the ScrapMobile, a 26' bus and the Ten Buck Truck, a walk in cargo van. Go to your local library in Southeast Michigan and get Museum Adventure Passes, good for admission and "deals" at 28 museums. When you bring yours to Arts & Scraps, four people visit Scrap Junction free. Do you work with a group or class? Staff is always willing to use the recycled materials to enhance curriculum. Are you a corporation? We will custom design kits as a promotional item.
