Conveniently located in the heart of the upper peninsula just minutes from Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks, waterfalls, and endless outdoor activities and adventures. Cottages are located in a beautiful private association along the AuTrain River and range in size from one to four bedrooms. They are completely furnished just like home and stocked with all the amenities like coffee, linens, towels and cookware. Also included is a gas grill, WiFi, HDTV and a canoe. Launching of canoes and kayaks can be done on site, and there are fishing boats with motors available for rent. The Autrain River provides excellent swimming and canoeing as well as simple relaxation as it winds seven miles through the Hiawatha National Forest. Further down river puts you into Lake Superior and quite possibly the best beach on all of Lake Superior. Up river is the beautiful Autrain Lake which provides a wonderful place to enjoy water sports, fishing or just a relaxing cruise. Bass, walleye or pike are your most commonly fished. Pictured Rocks Cruise is only 12 miles away and there are over a dozen waterfalls within a 30 mile radius. The National Lakeshore provides days worth of outdoor activities.
