The AuTrain River Cabin is nestled on a small hillside overlooking the river, the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the northwoods. Sleeps 6-8. The cabin has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other room has bunk beds and one bathroom. Towels and linens are provided. The kitchen has full-sized appliances, a microwave, coffee maker, dishes, and cooking utensils. The family room has cable TV with a VCR and there is a large deck overlooking the river. Deck is complete with grill, picnic table, and deck chairs for enjoying the beauty of the river and the Hiawatha National Forest. Just a few steps takes you to the dock on the AuTrain River where you can fish or find excellent swimming with a sand bottomed beach. Fire pit by the water for roasting marshmallows or cooking hot dogs. Open year-round. Sorry no pets.
