Home of the spectacular double sunsets!

Welcome to Bass Lake Cottage Rentals. Our properties are located on Bass Lake just north of Pentwater and about eight miles south of Ludington. Our properties share a private sand beach with a wood pier provided to tie up your boat. Bass Lake is a clean sand bottom lake with no sharp drop offs, perfect for swimming. There are plenty of large mouth bass, northern pike and panfish. The lake also is well suited for water skiing and tubing. Across the lake is a channel that connects to Lake Michigan with a gorgeous beach and sand dunes (A dam prevents you from taking your boat into Lake Michigan). What is a double sunset you may ask. Our properties look to the west across Bass Lake and the dunes that are between Bass Lake and Lake Michigan. Your first sunset takes place when the sun dips below the dunes and then most days the second occurs as the colors intensify as the sun sets over Lake Michigan!
