Big Cedar Campground and Canoe Livery

Big Cedar Campground is on the shores of the Manistique River near the Seney National Wildlife Refuge. There are 53 sites for tents, camper units and RV's. Big Cedar is open each year from May 1 to September 30th, and from October 1st through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving by reservation only, so be sure to call ahead for fall camping. We have enough space to accommodate even the big RV units pulling cars. We offer a friendly, quiet atmosphere on this beautiful river. The camping area is surrounded with fishing and hunting opportunities. At the campground you will find volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, badminton and a playground. We offer kayak and canoe rentals. Campground amenities include electricity, water, flush toilets, showers, and laundry.
