Body
The Big Rapids Riverwalk travels alongside the scenic Muskegon River and connects downtown Big Rapids with several recreational amenities, including Hemlock Park, Northend Riverside Park, and Swede Hill Park. The paved pathway includes four fishing platforms, the trail's biggest draw; other outdoor attractions such as canoeing, tubing, and picnicking are also available nearby.
On its northern end, the trail connects to Michigan's second longest rail-trail, White Pine Trail State Park, which spans 93 miles from just north of Grand Rapids to Cadillac.
