Birthplace of the Original Detroit-Style Pizza. It's been more than 70 years since Buddy’s Pizza created the first square pizza and established itself as a Detroit original. The Sicilian-style pizza began its legacy at Buddy’s Rendezvous Pizzeria on Six Mile and Conant streets in Detroit in 1946 - and the Detroit-Style Pizza trend was born.

Detroit pizza
Had to try this place out. It did not disappoint. The pizza was great, cheesy, crispy edges , curled up pepperoni. Surprisingly my favorite thing was there cheesy bread.

True Detroit style pizza
One of my must visit places while visiting Detroit for local styled pizza. Service was good. Got the Meatlovers with buddy beer, while kids got chicken tenders and fries. Great place!

Hard to write a long review. Everything was 5 star! From the service to the quality to the value, all excellent. I don't know how they could improve this place!

Try Detroit Pizza !!
What a cool place !! Really decorated very nicely. Service was excellent. Ordered the Detroit Special Pizza. Came very quickly. Good beer on tap choices.
