Campfire Coffee was created by a local, for the locals, in 2021. With a focus on bringing specialty grade coffee to the historic heart of Negaunee, Michigan, the cozy atmosphere and good brew quickly made it a trailhead for conversation and community.
Nowadays, Campfire Coffee Roasters is a woman-owned and operated small-batch roastery rooted in this tight-knit town, with its former general manager, Allison Carpenter, at the helm.
We’ve made a few changes here and there over the years. What began as a little coffee shop has expanded into over 60 different locations across the Upper Peninsula and downstate Michigan. We’ve kept true to the original vision, and that’s to share the hardy spirit of our home with those who appreciate a little U.P. charm in every cup.
All of our coffee comes from sustainable and community centered farms located around the world. Every roast is a single-origin coffee, meaning each one serves as a unique expression of flavors from its home country. There are no additives or fake flavors here - just naturally delicious tastes straight from the coffee beans themselves!
Our brand is inspired by the outdoor lifestyle that defines the U.P. We’re all about deep woods, cold lakes, and the grit that comes with living close to nature’s four seasons. From early-morning hikes to late-night fires, Campfire Coffee is here to fuel your next adventure!
