Cedar River North Equestrian State Forest Campground and Trail Camp

Nestled among a forest of mixed hardwoods and conifers, this campground is situated along the winding banks of the Big Cedar River. There are 18 sites available, including 12 sites for tent and small trailer use and six sites available for equestrian camping. The campground includes vault toilets and potable water from a well-hand pump. Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call for availability.

Equestrian trail rider groups planning a ride may need to acquire an event permit. Please contact this facility at 989-785-4388 to inquire about a permit.

The campground is located in Menominee County, just 6 miles northwest of Cedar River via M-35 and River Road.
