Body
One of the finest Richardsonian Romanesque churches in Michigan's lower peninsula outside of Detroit. Structure of dark red Ionia (Michigan) sandstone. All the trim is of red oak. Built in 1889-90, it has been an important part of the Greater Lansing community. It is perhaps the only church designed by Elijah E. Myers, architect of the State Capitol.
