Chassell Heritage Center

A Heritage Site of the Keweenaw National Historical Park, we are located in the old Chassell elementary school. The museum houses a timeline exhibit of Chassell township history and also features a vintage clothing exhibit which changes annually. A history of strawberry growing and French-Canadian culture are also featured exhibits. The museum also houses class photographs of Chassell School and an exhibit of the famed basketball teams of 1956, 1957, and 1958.
