Cheboygan State Park is located on the northern shore of the Lower Peninsula. The park contains 5 interconnected trails that can be completed together or separately. The Black Trail is 0.5 miles long and is easily accessed via the Green and Blue trails. The Black Trail begins at the Cheboygan Point Light and extends to Cheboygan Point where it then meets up with the Blue Trail. The trail contains a variety of terrain, the majority of it including beach and wetland areas. Hiking, biking and cross-country skiing are all allowed on the trail, weather permitting.
