Well-marked trails provide access to scenic Lake Huron vistas and glimpses of rare wildflowers. Visitors have their choice of lodging, with modern camping, rustic cabins, tepees and a fully-furnished modern lodge.

Elliot Creek flows through the park and is known for its trout. A carry-in boat launch provides access to Duncan Bay, where fishing is plentiful. The shallow, clear water at the beach is ideal for children to enjoy splashing around.
