Cheboygan State Park has a system of well-marked trails that provide access to scenic Lake Huron vistas and glimpses of rare wildflowers. Visitors have their choice of lodging, with modern camping, rustic cabins, tepees and a fully-furnished modern lodge. A carry-in boat launch is located on Duncan Bay and fishing is available both on the bay and on Elliot Creek. Great Lakes beach safety.
Take I-75 to exit 326, go east straight through the town of Cheboygan to US-23, continue three miles east of town to park entrance on north side of the road.
Before visiting a state park, boating site or trail, it’s always a good idea to check the latest closures due to weather-related events, planned improvement projects and repairs. Visit Michigan.gov/DNRClosures.
