Children’s Garden at Leila Arboretum Society

The Children's Garden is a one-acre outdoor garden destination with a covered pavilion, a learning garden sure to delight families and children of all ages. It's not just for kids!! It's also an excellent choice for school, day care, church, civic, elder-care and other group field trips. Explore the importance of plants in our lives, learning is encouraged through the power of the senses and guided activities. Come and enjoy the pizza garden, butterfly garden, and the zoo garden just to name a few. The original Fieldstone Building Cupola, a replica of the hot air balloon "Bob's Cat", and a Pottawatomie Medicine Wheel are just a few cool things here that are used in teaching about local and Michigan history. Our Theme "Summer Events Series" also provides special learning opportunities. The Children's Garden is available for birthdays, weddings and private parties by reservation. Admission charge.
