The Creature Conservancy

This is a wonderful up-close and personal wild animal conservancy with over 70 species of mostly exotic animals, many of whom are rescued former pets. Open to the public on the weekends (11:30am-5:30pm) with monthly featured animal presentations at 12:30pm and 4:30pm (these are the same program) and a Zookeeper's Talk at 1:30pm and 3:30pm (these are the same program). Weekdays are reserved for school field trips, summer camps, private tours, and private group events. Birthday parties and other private events can be arranged for weekends or weekdays. Most of the animal display enclosures are under cover so this is a great afternoon event for both hot and cold weather! Handicap and stroller accessible. The gift shop is open on the weekends. Free parking.
