Great Place For A Walk
The river walk runs along the Detroit River. It is a genuinely nice way to enjoy the scenery and walk, run or bike. I try to include a visit to the river walk on my trips to Detroit.

Quick 1 hour walk.
Quick one hour walk along downtown Detroit and the river. Fairly new, good for calm walk with family. View across Canada

Very Nice Place For A Walk, A Run Or A Bike Ride
This is a scenic and entirely pleasant route along the Detroit River. The views are nice, and the setting is quite pleasant. If you are near downtown this is well worth a visit.

You can see Canada from here (to paraphrase a former Alaska guv).
Very nice walk along the river, on the Sunday that I visited there was a huge and delightful variety of people and boats all around. It's very sad to see that most of the territory on the other side...

Nice place to visit and chill
Much of this is still under construction, but the bit we walked was relaxing and beautiful. The unique seating and the statuary is appealing.
