Dossin Great Lakes Museum

The Society's Belle Isle attraction, which is dedicated to the maritime history of southeastern Michigan, the Detroit River and the Great Lakes, will close to the public for 12 weeks for an upgrade of exhibits and facilities. Located on Detroit's unique island park - Belle Isle. Chronicles the glorious history of Detroit and Michigan's important waterways. The Dossin Museum galleries features exquisite models of sailing ships and commercial vessels, plus a wide variety of changing exhibits.
