Dwight Lydell Park is the site of the annual Canine Disc Championship which is held every year during the month of June. Park activities and facilities include: baseball diamonds, fishing, hiking/walking, nature trails, picnicking, a playground, tennis courts, restrooms, basketball, and an open shelterhouse.
