Elkwood Campground is located on 73 acres of rolling woodlands, meadows and wetlands in Northern Michigan's Elk Country. We are near the scenic Pigeon River Country. We offer 65 sites and some are limited for seasonal sites, some pull through sites and tenting sites. Most sites have water and electric (including three 50 amp sites) hookups. A 'honeywagon' is available as well as a dump station. Enjoy the large pool, recreation room, pavilion, playground, hayrides, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball, and nature trails. Rental units include a 29 foot travel trailer, a 35ft travel trailer w/ 14ft slide out & a 2 bedroom mobile home that has a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom w/ tub and living room , call us about dates and prices. Leashed pets are welcome, except in the rental units.

Seasonal & monthly sites are available.

The middle of September through mid October are the best times to see and hear elk!
