Ethnic Commons
East Mary St, Bessemer, MI 49911
Body
Situated in downtown Bessemer along Mary street, the Ethnic Commons pays homage to those who settled the area. The park is lined with flags of various nations which have played a major role in the makeup of our area's heritage. Park benches, picnic tables, and gazebos are available for leisure and an iron miner sculpture welcomes you from the Sophie Street entrance to the park leading to a wooden logger sculpture within. Next to Kwik Trip, the motorized trail separates the park and convenience store. Stop by as you pass through town and see the agates that peek from inside the boulder the iron miner rests on.
