Ferdinand's (Mexican)

I come to Escanaba once or twice a year by boat and always have enjoyed good food at Ferdinands. They have great homemade salsa and a huge menu including combos. The bartender makes me an upscale...

Had family that once again wanted to get some salsa here then decided to stay for lunch. About the only positive is the salsa....which is ok.

Pass on this place. I rarely say that but the food here is just plain bad. The guacamole was green shiny paste. Mexican food is fairly easy to make and this stuff was just bad from start to finish...

We had family in town who wanted to try Ferdinands as it had been some time since they had eaten there last. Never again! The only good point was our waitress....she was very efficient and very nice...

I’m a huge fan of Mexican quisine, I’ll settle for TexMex, you get Yooper Mex @ this restaurant. Totally edible but Yooper mild. I prefer a peppered kick in my “southern” food.
