The Fire Barn features a host of firefighting artifacts including a LaFrance Fire Truck, hose carts, hooks, ladders, and call boxes. The second floor includes a replica of the sleeping quarters of fire fighters along with photographs and uniforms. It is a site of the Lakeshore Museumand serves as a living memorial to the brave men and women who have served as Muskegon County firefighters.

Lots of great old photos. Good displays. Included in our ticket for the Hackley and Hume Homes. Just takes a few minutes but interesting, especially since we grew up in Muskegon.

Interesting history of how fire houses evolved
Lots of cool information. It's amazing how they used to fight fires and the peril the firefighters put themselves in with the equipment they had a the time. They have some well preserved displays...
