We have exciting news! Flint Youth Theatre has become part of the Flint Institute of Music. Having been a member institution of the Flint Cultural Center Corporation, FYT became a member of the FIM January 1st, joining the Flint Symphony Orchestra and Flint School of Performing Arts. FYT's mission is to change lives through extraordinary live theatre arts experiences. FYT promises to engage, enlighten and entertain people of all ages with unique professional theatre productions and professional-caliber theatre training in a welcoming environment emphasizing originality, personal growth and authenticity. Since 1957, FYT's nationally-acclaimed, award-winning inter-generational programming has provided Flint area residents with opportunities to experience the unique joys of discovery and self-expression through the performing arts. As one of it member institutions, FYT is the resident theatre company at the Flint Cultural Center.
