Yvonne Della-Moretta, a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), is the store's creator, designer and driving force. She and her husband Tom have become well-known for going the 'extra mile' for folks looking for unique jewelry not found everywhere.

Featuring the famous Mackinac Bridge designs by Evon and hand-made Michigan stone jewelry, the Gold Mine also carries VEER's Fairytale Bridal designs, a nationally marketed designer bridal line of which Yvonne is the original designer.
