Goose Lake State Forest Campground

This rustic campground sits along the shore of Goose Lake surrounded by a mixed forest of evergreens and hardwoods. The campground is home to 30 sites for tent and small trailer use camping and is situated near the water's edge. Visitors love the easy access to boating and fishing. Campground amenities include a paved boating access ramp, vault toilets and potable water from a well-hand pump.

The campground is in close proximity to Lake City providing visitors with access to restaurants, gas, groceries and two public swimming beaches. Seasonal festivals allow for great family fun. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.

Located in Missaukee County, 2.5 miles northwest of Lake City via M-42, Randall Road, Almoses Road, Goose Lake Road and Green Road.
