Wooded hills, floodplain forest, wetlands, a native grassland and a small lake are some of the natural features of this 162 acre park along the banks of the Grand River. In addition to hiking, biking or cross country skiing on the nature trails, visitors can also fish from a wooden boardwalk, view the Grand River from an overlook platform or enjoy a picnic. In the winter, visitors will find about five kilometers of ungroomed cross county ski trails. Beware that some trails along the Grand River are periodically flooded. Open year round. There are no park entry fees or boat launch fees. By reservation, visitors can utilize the picnic building which overlooks a small lake and is fully enclosed with electricity, heat, ceiling fans, air conditioning and a kitchen with electric stove and sink. Banquet tables and chairs for up to 50 are provided.
