Great Lakes Kiteboarding was the first kiteboarding school in Michigan. We have been sailing for over twelve years, kiting since 1999 and teaching since 2001. No other school in Michigan comes close to the knowledge and experience of GLK’s professional instructors. GLK has developed ultimate teaching programs to assure you will become a safe, self sufficient and confident kiteboarder. We proudly achieve this through our knowledge, experience and dedication to the sport. We have taught hundreds of students over the years with great success, no other local school comes close to what we have accomplished.
We have two locations, one in St. Clair Shores, MI and one in East Tawas, MI. We offer kiteboarding lessons, kiteboarding vacations, kite repair, kiteboarding gear and more. We also offer snow kite lessons in the winter.
