The Council strives to promote and celebrate the arts, building new partnerships and to lay foundations of cultural growth for all the arts in our community. Arts Council renovated a building that was slated for demolition and turned it into an asset for the downtown Flint community. Currently major renovations have been made to the first floor as well as electrical and HVAC systems.

What a joy to enjoy art,free food & live music...Every second Friday there is a very wide selection of fruit,veggies,etc to munch as you enjoy the changing art shows each month.

They had wine, beer, snacks, and friendly staff. The art was wonderful as well. One of my favorite galleries to visit during the art walk.

Of the wall
I visit here regularly. Mainly on Artwalk Fridays. The gallery is full of a great variety of artwork. Paintings, sculptures, jewelry, textiles.

Art work is excellent!
I enjoy visiting the Greater Flints Arts Council to view all the art work by local artists. There is such a variety, including paintings, jewelry, and sculpture.
