Body
The Green Pine Lake Pathway is set in a mature hardwood forest, encompassing three lakes: Mud Lake, Pike Lake, and Green Lake. The 13-mile trail is packed with a wide variety of wildlife and habitats. There are three different trail sections you can hike, bike, cross-country ski or snowshoe. The trail has two access points, one on M-115 north of the Lake Station Road intersection and the other at Mud Lake State Forest Campground.
Backpacking (dispersed camping) is allowed along the pathway, as long as you are one mile away from Mud Lake campground. Learn more about backpacking and dispersed camping. View a map of state forests and campgrounds.
