Grindstone General Store is the last existing business from the original Grindstone City. A family destination since 1886. We are an Ice Cream Parlor with Homemade & Stroh's hand dipped ice cream. We have the largest scoops in the Thumb area. Serving 90+ thousand guests seasonally. Visit our Made in Michigan Gift Shoppe, featuring Michigan made gifts and art & crafts from local artisans. We have Sanders products, local fresh fudge, seasonings, jams and jellies. Sit outside and socialize at our daily ice cream socials. We accept all credit and debit cards. Open daily, 1pm - 8pm, from Mothers Day weekend to the end of September. To safely serve our customers, we have installed a drive thru touchless order system.
