Rent canoes, kayaks, rafts and tubes on Michigan's White River, a state designated natural and scenic river in the Manistee National Forest. We provide transportation for all our watercraft rentals along with paddles and personal floatation devices. Located 30 minutes north of Muskegon near Montague, Happy Mohawk Canoe Livery has provided memorable river adventures since 1963. Camping nearby.

Great operation start to finish
This was the nicest, cleanest, friendliest canoe/kayak rental place I've ever been to...and I've been to a lot! Clean, indoor bathrooms at the check in were a bonus. Great operation overall.

Relaxing trip through the woods
We had a lovely afternoon on the river. We had conversations with 5 different employees. Everyone was cheerful and pleasant, answered all our questions. We will return.

The staff and facilities were polite, casual, and clean. Prices probably reflect the lack of local competition. The river is an amazing trip. The 2.5 hour trip is perfect amount of time.
