Haunted Theatre, Mackinac Island

THE HAUNTED THEATRE on MACKINAC ISLAND is a family owned and operated business since 1974. We are a 6 month seasonal Haunted House, open May 1st thru October 31st. We have been providing screaming laughing fun for 45 years to visitors of all age, with customers returning years later with their children and grandchildren. We are part of Mackinac Island History. The original building in this location was built as a roller rink in 1885, by Mr. Charles W. Kaskey, who built many of the first cottages and homes here on Mackinac Island, including The Grand Hotel. In 1895 the building was used as a dance hall.......in 1907 a family theatre.......in 1923 showing movie pictures......from 1917 to the present it was called the Orpheum Theatre. In 1974, we arrived and here we are THE HAUNTED THEATRE, historical, educational, and pure fun !!! Come join us. Senior Citizens are free.......Veterans are free......Native Americans, as this was once their home, are free........animals are free. We love everybody. We are open everyday 11:00-8:00 with exceptions in Spring and Fall. We do special ocassions and hours......Include us in your wedding plans !!! How about a midnight thrill with all of your adventuresome friends !!! You name it, we can do it. We love what we do.
