The Hardwoods Trail is located in P.H. Hoeft State Park just north of Rogers City on the shores of Lake Huron. The Hardwoods Trail stretches a quick 1.5 miles through the heavily wooded area along the sandy Lake Huron shoreline. The terrain is relatively easy as it runs through rolling, mixed hardwood forests along the shoreline. Experience the beautiful fall color, the spring wildflowers or the towering trees in the winter. Hiking, biking and cross-country skiing are allowed on the trail, weather permitting.
