Body
Historic Hope Chapel was built in the 1890s, and originally named Disco Methodist Protestant Church, after the unincorporated village of Disco, Michigan in which it was located. Renamed Hope United Methodist Church in the 1970s, the building was eventually moved from its original location to its current spot on the Shelby Township Municipal Grounds. It sits next to the historic Andrews Schoolhouse, and near Heritage Lake and Heritage Gardens. Hope Chapel is now available to rent for weddings.
