Ionia-Cross-Country Ski Trails

Enjoy 10.5 miles of designated cross-country ski trails cross-country skiing in Ionia State Park Recreation Area. Choose between a 1.2-mile beginner loop, a 2.5-mile intermediate loop or a 6-mile expert trail. Experience the recreation area while the snow falls across the hardwood forests, pine plantations, and meadows. All three of the loops can be picked up at the cross-country ski staging area located on Jordan Lake Road, north of the park entrance and the Sessions Lake Boat Launch.
