Ironton Ferry at Lake Charlevoix

The Ironton Ferry operates during the late spring, summer and early fall months across the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix. Generally, it is open from mid-April through mid-November. Operating hours are 6:30am to 10:30pm. The Ironton Ferry crosses the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, perhaps 100 times per day and it takes about ten minutes to cross. Note that the west ferry dock is just off of M-66, about 6 miles south of US-31.
