The State Theatre has been a fixture in downtown Kalamazoo since 1927. It has survived to attract a wide variety of performers. It is one of the few remaining "atmospheric" movie palaces in the United States.

Best acoustics in Kalamazoo, beautiful venue.
I have seen everything from Folk to Elctronica here. Always worth it and the drinks are not too expensive.
