This small rustic campground is nestled along the north shore of King Lake, a 498-acre lake that features many species of fish, including bass, panfish and crappie. The surrounding area is known for moose, eagles and loon sightings and the lake is excellent for paddling along its picturesque rocky islands. There are six sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 14.8 miles east of Covington via US-141 North, US-41 South and King Lake Road. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
