Lawrence A. McDonald Wildlife Sanctuary

This 11 acre wetland area bequest to the Commission by the family of the late Lawrence Mc Donald. This area is a wonderful site that will have very little done to its natural character. A bridge along the Pere Marquette Rail-Trail, which runs along the North-east side of the area, is a wonderful stopping point to overlook this wetland area.
