Leverentz Lake State Forest Campground
This secluded, rustic campground sits on the shores of Little and Big Leverentz Lakes. The campground is split into two sections, with sites 1-11 on Big Leverentz Lake and sites 12-18 on Little Leverentz Lake. There is access to the Sheep Ranch Pathway from both campgrounds, as well as excellent fishing opportunities. Big Leverentz Lake features a boat launch and a 50-foot floating dock, perfect for fishing.
The campground is in Lake County, 2.7 miles east of Baldwin via US-10 and Forest Drive. All sites will accommodate tents and small trailers, but some sites can accommodate 30-foot trailers/vehicles. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
This rustic campground is open all year; however, the campground and seasonal roads are not plowed.
Resting on the shores of Big and Little Leverentz Lakes, this campground is a perfect destination for paddling, hiking, fishing and more. The campground is in Lake County, 2.7 miles east of Baldwin.
