Lexus Velodrome

The Lexus Velodrome, easily located at Mack Avenue & I-75 in Detroit, is a 64,000 Sq. Ft. Multi-Sport Complex that offers a variety of activity - for participation and spectating. The star of the facility is the Lexus Velodrome itself, a 1/10th Mile Cycling Oval with 50 degree banking and the venue for spectacular race action featuring daring athletes who ride on bikes with NO brakes, shoulder-to-shoulder, hip-to-hip at speeds faster than 40 MPH. Spectators not only enjoy the amazing race action but do so from comfortable couch seating edging the racing surface or from the Lexus Velodrome skywalk providing intimate viewing of each racer's extraordinary technical savvy. Those so inspired, can give the Lexus Velodrome a spin via Track 101 - a bucket list experience OR the start of a racing career. Sharing the square footage is a 1/8th Mile Run/Walk/Skate track honoring Detroit's Eddie Tolan (2 Gold Medals/1931/Track & Field). And a 1200 square foot fitness center where Detroit Fit classes are ongoing.
