Sit atop a bluff overlooking the St. Marys River and watch Great Lake freighters pass by, hike on many trails that lace the island, fish from shore or enjoy a sandy beach. Two and three bedroom cottages available that can sleep up to eight individuals. Water and portable restrooms are located nearby. The cottages are barrier-free. Weekend cottage reservation is a minimum stay of two nights. No reservations are needed for tent camping. Tent camping on raised tent platforms is available. Camping platforms are on a first come, first serve basis. Non-platform camping is also available up on the hill or on grass in a designated site. Visitors to the Island must charter or navigate a boat three miles across the St. Mary's River.
