Little Garlic Falls

From Lakeshore Boulevard in Marquette, take Hawley Street/County Road 550 north and west about 11 miles to the Little Garlic River crossing. Take the next road to the left and proceed about 1.5 miles to the next river crossing. Park at the parking area about 100 yards before the bridge, north of the river. Pick up the foot trail here and follow the North Country Trail about 1.2 miles west and north to the river campground. Cross the river here and follow the dry river bed up hill to the main stream. Follow the ancient fisherman’s trail upstream on these south side of the river about 10 minutes to the falls.
