Little Presque Isle Cabins
Little Presque Isle is set along the Lake Superior shoreline and it boasts an abundance of trails and plenty of fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. There are six rustic cabins tucked away among the birch and pine woodlands of Harlow Lake and Harlow Creek. There's no other camping available.
Each one-room cabin sleeps up to eight people and is equipped with bunk beds, mattresses, a wood-heating stove, table/chair, fire circle, axe, bow saw and cooking and eating utensils. There is no running water or electricity, but a hand pump for water is located nearby. A vault toilet is located nearby. You must provide your own light source, cooking equipment and linens and linens/sleeping bags.
Please note: Firewood is available for heating/cooking Sept. 15-June 1. All other times, you may gather and use dead or fallen wood from the area around the cabins or purchase from a local vendor.
Pet-friendly lodging is available in cabins #4 and #5. There is an additional fee of $10 per night/pet/cabin or $15 per night/pet/lodge. Up to two pets (cats and dogs only) are allowed.
The roads are suitable for all vehicles; however, guests should be prepared to walk up to a half mile to the cabin sites. The terrain is mostly flat and the trail is well marked.
