Manistee Paddlesport Adventures

Located on US-31 adjacent to Insta Launch Campground & Marina, Manistee Paddlesport Adventures offers family oriented canoe, kayak and tube trips on the lower section of the Big Manistee River. The Manistee River is a renowned Salmon and Steelhead fishery and is characterized by gentle currents, sparkling water and shallow sandbars perfect for swimming -- an excellent river for beginner and intermediate paddlers and families with children. We offer two trip length options: a 2-3 hour float putting in at Claybank Bayou and a 4-5 hour float putting in at Rainbow Bend or Bear Creek, with both trips ending at Insta Launch Campground & Marina. Rental rates include life vest, seat cushion, paddles and transportation to the drop in point. We also offer livery service for those with their own watercraft. To avoid disappointment, reservations are recommended (walk-ins are welcome on a space available basis).
