Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area is located 8 miles south of Lapeer. The 723-acre park surrounds Lake Minnawanna and is home to a modern campground, overnight lodging, a designated swim area, a fishing pier, picnic areas, 6 miles of trails, paddling and fishing opportunities, and more.
Seasonal naturalists offer weekly nature-based nature programming Memorial Day through Labor Day.
