Mio Pond State Forest Campground

This picturesque, rustic campground is located on the Mio Dam along the Au Sable River. It offers visitors great fishing and paddling opportunities. The campground is separated into two sections; a paddle-in group camping area on the east side and a campground offering 24 individual campsites on the west side. The campsites are secluded, private and wooded. There are 24 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 2 miles northwest of Mio via Morenci Avenue, Pond Drive and South Gerber Road. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
