Mitchell-Heritage Nature Trail

The Heritage Nature Trail is located in Mitchell State Park in Cadillac. The trail extends for 3.5 miles and is filled with history of the area and the nature surrounding. With interpretive signage throughout the trail, you are sure to learn about the wildlife that inhabit the area. There are several lookout towers and boardwalks adjacent to Lake Cadillac that are sure to enhance your journey. Hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are allowed on this trail, weather permitting.
